We were appointed by Stockport MBC to provide M&E design services.

Relating to the replacement of MEP systems for the proposed relocation of the CAMHS Unit within Stopford House.

The scope of works will see the area stripped back to a shell state and refurbished to suit the specific needs of the CAMHS service.

Charles Andrews formed part of an experience design to create an inspiring new home for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in the centre of Stockport at Stopford House. The proposed scheme included 18 themed therapy rooms, exciting reception far detached from the typical CAMHS or hospital environment, open plan office areas to enable collaborative working and meeting spaces that accommodate for the current and future ways of working and consultations.

A helpful facility.

This amazing new facility for CAMHS will help children on their journey to recovery and support from numerous mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, plus others. We are excited to see the team at the centre including adolescent psychiatrists, mental health practitioners, clinical psychologistschild psychotherapists together with all the supporting admin teams for the services on offer.
